Appointment of new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) for Basel Medical Group

Singapore — April 23, 2025 — Basel Medical Group, a trusted leader in the healthcare industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Darren Chhoa as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective April 17, 2025. He will succeed Mr Raymond Cheung, who has served in the role since 2022.

With over 14 years of executive leadership in healthcare, Dr. Darren Chhoa is a seasoned expert in clinical operations, health systems management, and patient-centered innovation. Before becoming the Group CEO of Basel Medical Group, he served as its Group Chief Health Officer, where he led significant improvements in care quality, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. Earlier in his career, Dr. Chhoa was the Medical Director and Vice President at Fullerton Health Group, where he played a pivotal role in supporting the founders and board in regional expansion, acquisitions, and the seamless integration of business units.
